The Juniper WX Series offers compression, acceleration and optimisation of the TCP flow over wide area networks. Application flow acceleration improves the performance of specific applications such as Exchange, Windows File Services and Web-Based applications. Ranging from branch office appliances to the WX Stack of up to six WX60 appliances controlled by the WX100.

WXC Series
The WXC series builds on the acceleration technologies of the WX appliances with the addition of the sequence reduction and caching. The MSR algorithm recognises repeated data patterns and replaces them with labels dramatically reducing WAN traffic and improving overall performance, sequences are in turn cached which enables the appliances to replace data patterns over long periods of time, eliminating repetitive traffic separated by Gigabytes of data or last seen days or weeks earlier.
