Riverbed's award-winning Steelhead WDS appliances address all of the issues that affect application performance over the WAN, dramatically improving the performance of applications that companies and knowledge workers rely on every day - including file sharing, email, backup, document management systems, IT tools, as well as ERP and CRM solutions. Steelhead Mobile
An extension of the Steelhead WAN acceleration platform enables remote workers to benefit from LAN like access to corporate files and applications no matter where they are. With transparently installed software package on their laptops or desktops Steehead mobile can overcome the challenges of variable locations, inconsistent links and high latency environments.
Riverbed Services Platform
RSP allows for the installation of VMware Virtual Machines in remote or satellite offices with no additional infrastructure. RSP can support up to 5 VMs running on certain steelhead appliance platforms. RSP is uniquely suited to branch office server consolidation and virtualisation. RSP will run on most steelhead platforms enabling existing customers to benefits without having to replace their previous investments in Riverbed technology.

Central Management Console
The Riverbed Central Management Console simplifies the process of deploying, configuring, and managing Steelhead® appliances. With just a few clicks, administrators are in full control of their Steelhead appliance deployment. Configuring, updating, and monitoring Steelhead appliances happens all through one Web-based interface.
